The Driftwood Egg treehouse
Is this a tree house or a coffee bean??? Built by the famous tree house designer Takashi Kobayashi for a Nescafè television commercial on a field of Kamishihoro’s town, has been left as a gift -by the same Nescafè- to the people of Hokkaido. Since this tree house was for the famous coffee brand Nescafè, Kobayashy built an oval bird’s nest with the shape of a coffee bean. It’s 12 feet high and 9 feet in diameter, reached by a spiral staircase. All of the driftwood used to make this magical treehouse was gathered from a nearby beach from this the name of this tree house! The only problem is that even if this tree house is incredibly enticing, it’s off-limits to visitors! |
